Case Study: Takaokaya

We were asked by the CEO of Takaokaya to create a video to celebrate their 100th year in business. The video was to be used at home expos, the company websites and on social media pages.

SONY FS5, SONY A73

The following services were required:

  • ideation and storyboarding

  • location scouting and hiring a traditional Japanese apartment

  • filming an interview of the CEO telling the origins of the company

  • filming the manufacturing process of the artisans

  • filming the talent using the products in a apartment

  • creating English and Japanese subtitles

Results:
As a result the video was used in several home expos in Japan, Singapore and France as well as by the sales team when introducing the business to potential clients. It is also on the company website and YouTube channel.
